Quick verdict. For a small flat lawn, Navimow is cheaper. For a sloping garden up to 1,200 m², Mammotion gives you more climbing ability for less. Above 2,000 m², only Navimow currently shows a public price in Europe. The rest depends on your garden: the table below gives the cheapest model from each brand for your lawn size.

The cheapest of each brand, by lawn size

The real question behind “Navimow vs Mammotion” is: for my garden, which costs less without being undersized? We ran the numbers on both manufacturers’ list prices, keeping a 20% area margin (explained in our methodology).

Three things stand out. Navimow wins at both ends: small lawns (thanks to the i105E and i108E, which need an antenna) and very large ones (X4 range). Mammotion wins in the middle, around 800 m², with the YUKA mini 2 1000. And above 1,500 m², Mammotion showed no public price for its LUBA 3 AWD 3000 on its European store when we checked.

At Navimow, going beyond 45% means moving up the range: i2 LiDAR Pro (55%) or X4 (84%). At Mammotion, the whole LUBA family is all-wheel drive and claims 80%. For a mid-sized sloping garden, that is the strongest argument for Mammotion. If you do not know your slope, measure it with the calculator in our guide to robot mowers for steep slopes.

Navimow built its range on satellites. The i105E and i108E use an RTK antenna installed in your garden, plus vision. The i2 AWD and X4 range switch to network RTK, no antenna, with cellular data included. The i2 LiDAR models add LiDAR and vision.

Mammotion bets on LiDAR and vision. The YUKA mini 2 and LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500 need no RTK at all; the LUBA mini 2 AWD 1000 pairs tri-camera vision with NetRTK; the LUBA 3 AWD combines LiDAR, vision and, above 1,500 m², NetRTK. Its price sends many buyers looking for Mammotion LUBA 3 alternatives.

In practice: under trees or between tall walls, satellite signal degrades. A model with LiDAR keeps its bearings. If the idea of an antenna puts you off, our list of robot mowers without an RTK antenna only keeps models whose manufacturer says so in writing.

Manufacturer data checked on 10/10/2026; prices and availability checked on 11/10/2026 on the official stores. “n/a” = not stated by the source: we prefer a blank cell to an invented number.

One honest caveat: the spec sheets are not comparable on everything. Navimow publishes area mown per charge, Mammotion mostly runtime in minutes. We converted neither, for lack of reliable data to do so.

Where each brand loses

Navimow loses on moderate slopes on a budget: under €1,599, no Navimow in our database goes beyond 45%. Its two entry models require an RTK antenna. And its EU page for the i108E gives no slope at all.

Mammotion loses on large lawns at a listed price: above 1,500 m², no public price in our check. The YUKA mini 2, its cheapest model, is rear-wheel drive and tops out at 45%. And 4G is only included for three years on the models that advertise it; our robot mower without subscription page covers what stays free afterwards.

So which one?

Still undecided? The quiz below filters both brands (and others) against your actual garden. It is also on the which robot mower page, and every model is in the wire-free robot mower comparison.

Lots of trees or tall walls over the lawn?
Good 4G coverage in the garden?
Happy to install an RTK antenna?

FAQ

Navimow or Mammotion: which is cheaper?

It depends on lawn size. Under 500 m², Navimow has the lowest entry price (i105E at €799 checked, with an RTK antenna). Around 800 to 1,000 m², Mammotion’s YUKA mini 2 1000 (€1,099) is cheaper than the first Navimow that covers that area with a margin. Above 2,000 m², only Navimow shows a public price in our database.

Which climbs slopes better?

On paper, Navimow’s X4 range claims 84% and Mammotion’s LUBA AWD models 80%. But for a steep garden up to 800 m², Mammotion is cheaper: the LUBA mini 2 AWD 1000 (80%) costs €1,399 against €1,599 for the Navimow i210 LiDAR Pro (55%). Same gap up to 1,200 m² (LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500 at €1,699 vs i220 LiDAR Pro at €1,999).

Do I need to install an RTK antenna?

With Navimow, yes for the i105E and i108E. The i2 AWD and X4 use network RTK with no antenna. With Mammotion, the manufacturer pages of every model in our database say no RTK installation is needed.

Is 4G a paid extra?

Mammotion advertises built-in 4G with 3 years included on the LUBA mini 2 AWD 1000 and LUBA 3 AWD; the page we checked does not give the price afterwards. Navimow says network RTK and cellular data are included on the i2 AWD and X4, without stating a duration on the page we checked.
