About Tondalo

I’m Antoine, I live in Paris, and Tondalo started with a request from my grandparents. They live in Alsace-Lorraine, in eastern France, and can no longer mow their lawn themselves, so they asked me to help them choose a robot mower.

I enjoy comparing products and reading spec sheets, so I did it properly: real lawn area, slope, RTK antenna or not, subscription, checked price. Along the way I noticed that many comparisons copy the same figures, sometimes wrong, rarely sourced. I did not want that research to go to waste, so I published it.

That is where the site’s rule comes from: every figure links to the manufacturer page or the source it comes from, and an unknown cell stays blank instead of being guessed. I do not claim to have tested every mower: I compare what manufacturers publish, and I say so. The full method is in our methodology; to see the result, start with the Navimow vs Mammotion comparison.
